What is a salt bath?

Simply a bath with salt in it, possibly sea water. They were once thought to be good for you. Common salt is sodium chloride.





Some spas, including Bath, have baths (either public or private) filled with water from local springs containing particular mineral salts that are thought to have therapeutic properties.What is a salt bath?

don't know if this is still true but hospitals used to give you salt to put in your bath after child birth an especially if you had stitches i think to prevent infection and as a healing aid

You put salt in the bathing water it is supposed to have healing properties if you have any sores or just after giving birth. (Old wives tale)
It is basically salt (like balls) put in water. Its a good cleanser.

I think it is a bath with Epson salts in it. Epson salts help you relax and help your muscles feel better.
