What does salt bath means? please explain... thanks!?

It means taking a bath that has mineral salts dissolved in the water. Epsom Salts is a common bath salt, so are Dead Sea Salts.


Salt is simply a general term for minerals in combination that form small granules (look like table salt).


The minerals in the salts used in therapeutic baths are absorbed by the skin and can eliminate toxins from the skin and underlying tissue, can relax tense muscles (even more than just the warm water) and have a psychological effect as well (can help calm the mind).What does salt bath means? please explain... thanks!?
