How to make homemade bath salt out of household supplies?

Very easy, Epson salts, food coloring and essential oils (your choice of color and scent). It only takes a drop or two from an eye dropper of color and scent. It makes a great Christmas gift if you put it in a decorative bottle.

You can get the essential oils at any craft store. I chose Rose for mine. If you have to use household supplies try vanilla extract for your scent. It will turn the salts a brown color.

Very easy! Start with Epsom Salts. You can add drops of essential oils (very few drops are needed) or even botanicals--such as bits of lavender, mint or rosemary. If you use botanicals, you can wrap up a small amount in a piece of muslin or cheesecloth, so that the leaves don't end up floating around in the bathtub.

Essential oils are sold at craft or health food stores. How to make homemade bath salt out of household supplies?
