How do you make your own bath salts?

I think that I have a good idea, but I want to make sure that I'm not forgetting/missing anything. Any suggestions, tips, or websites would be appreciated. Thank you.How do you make your own bath salts?
Here are the instructions that I have.

How To Prepare Bath Salts

Ingredients:

epsom salts

regular food coloring

essential oils and extracts (for fragrance)

glass jars (or containers) with lids

Procedure:

Place approximately 2 cups of epsom salts in a clean, dry quart jar

Add fragances

Add color to your bath salt using regular food coloring. For dark colors, add more drops of the food coloring. If you need to blend colors, such as red and blue to get purple, do so in a teaspoon

before adding it to the bath salts.

Place lid onto jar, tighten, and shake jar vigorously until well blended.

Store bath salts in an airtight jar to prevent them from going stale. How do you make your own bath salts?
You are welcome. If you use too much food coloring it will. But it should wash off easily. Most of the ones you buy have some coloring in them. This shouldn't stain any worse than those do. Good luck with the project.
