Can i treat my pleco's fungus with salt bath?

Not advisable. Plecos are salt intolerant - they originate from the Amazon and surrounding rivers which have very little to no salt content. Exposure to high levels of salt could well kill them.

Are you sure this is fungus the fish has? All things like this are primarily caused by bad water quality. Fungus is a secondary condition, usually associate with injury or lesions that have become infected, anti-fungal/anti-bacterial medication will help cure this.

If it looks cotton-wool like it could also be Columnaris which is nasty bacteria, it needs some tough anti-bacterial medication to cure.

if you are talking about aquarium salt then it will help heal wounds and help with proper gill function. But to treat the fungus use anti-fungal tablets or drops found at all petstores(cheap). And dont forget a proper 30% water change.

No, you would burn it.

To treat fungus on plecs use methylene blue and start water changes after 24 hours, as leaving it at full strength causes the fish stress.
ask your chemist and also you can have a sea water to clean it it is sold at the chemist too.
YES I AGREE
